Isopod Sale Policies

Shipping:

Shipping is only available in the US excluding Hawaii and Alaska. It is up to you to know whether or not the species you are purchasing is legal in your area. Do not order isopods if they aren’t legal where you live. If the shipping location is listed as a location outside of the 48 US states I can ship to, I will cancel the order. Isopods will most often be shipped on Wednesdays. I highly recommend setting up delivery notifications when you receive your tracking number so that you can get to the isopods as soon as possible after they are delivered.

Safety Measures:

Isopods will be shipped in secure packaging. They will only be shipped if temperatures in my area are within the range of 40-90°F. It is your responsibility to check temperatures in your area, as I am not able to check for every person that orders. Isopods will be shipped at a reasonable size, at which they will be able to safely survive shipping. Getting tiny isopods that I paid a decent bit of money for is disappointing, and I wouldn’t want to do that to people buying from me.

DOA Policy:

If any isopods are dead on arrival, I need to receive a total of 3 images in order for DOA to be credited. 

1: An image of the isopod(s) on a piece of paper towel, back up.

2: An image of the isopod(s) on a piece of paper towel, belly up.

3: An image of the isopod(s) on a piece of paper towel with a pin through them.

On the bottom of the piece of the paper towel you must write:

• The date (MM/DD/YYYY)

• Your order number

• The isopod species or name

• Quantity of isopods you are claiming DOA for

These images must be sent within 2 hours for a full DOA credit for the lost isopods, and 6 hours for half DOA credit for the lost isopods. Most places only offer a 2 hour credit at most, and I know that a lot of people have circumstances going on where 2 hours often just isn’t enough time, so I’m trying a 6 hour policy as well. This is subject to change in the future, but if you place an order while this is up, it will be honored. I do apologize for the need for a procedure like this, I just want to make sure that my DOA policy is not being abused.
